Woodford were presented with the last ever Caboolture District 3rd Division Pennant. Present were Shaun Casey, Neville Hanna, James Schiulaz, Nick Casey, Gordon Mattingly and Bob Graham.  Absent Mick Gloynes, Damien Leenen and Aaron Gain.

Fantastic weather and company for the September Open Fours on Saturday 15th.  Overall winners were the Banyo team

Runners -Up were the Caboolture Lakes team.

Third place went to the Everton Park team

First round winners were the Kilcoy team.

Second round winners were the Glasshouse Mountains team.

Third round winners were the Ring-ins.

A fantastic day, beautiful weather and full rink of enthusiastic bowlers from the railways with support from our local club bowlers. Super fund raising effort for the Queensland Heart/Lung Transplant Support Group.  Well done to all those involved.  Winners on the day for the second year in a row were the Noddy’s.

The green is looking good after initial rolling and mowing.  Don’t forget Sunday the 28th of January Mick Richardson will be along to offer some coaching tips 9am – 12 pm.  Breakfast will be available from 8am- 9am.  Please put your name on the sheet provided if you are interested.

Thank you to all the members that volunteered with this years green renovation.  The coring and sanding was done on the 15th & 16th of December and the green is looking superb after only two weeks.  Hopefully a few showers and storms will further enhance the growth of the grass.
